The Role

We are now looking for a highly experienced systems engineer in networking and communication who wants to take full responsibility for the design, integration, and functionality of modern, safety-critical communication systems.

This role is suitable for you who want to work closely with technology, in environments where availability, robustness, and IT security are not ambitions but requirements. You will work in advanced industrial and defense-related contexts, often at the intersection of software, networking, and hardware, ensuring that systems operate seamlessly even under extreme conditions – on both ground and airborne platforms.

The Role in Brief

• Design and further development of advanced networking and communication systems
• Integration and configuration of routers, switches, and VoIP solutions in security-classified environments
• Focus on IT security, system integration, verification, and deployment
• Close collaboration with customers and experienced system and security specialists

We are looking for someone who

• Has many years of experience in systems engineering within networking and communication
• Has worked in the defense industry, armed forces, or other safety-critical operations
• Is technically very strong in IP networks, VoIP, and security solutions (VPN, firewalls, cryptosystems)
• Thrives in roles with significant responsibility, technical depth, and high quality and security requirements

Additional Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP
• Experience with Cisco CUCM and larger VoIP environments
• Knowledge in signal protection and cryptographic management
• Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, NMAP, SolarWinds
